A young man has become the first in Britain to reveal he is pregnant .
Hayden Cross, who was born as a girl, will give birth to his first child this year after tracking down a sperm donor via Facebook.
Now four months pregnant, the 20-year-old had reportedly already started transitioning into a man when he chose to have a baby.
After giving birth, he plans to complete his gender transition - including surgery to remove his ovaries, The Sun on Sunday reports.
He also plans to stay single for a while - for his child's sake.
Speaking to the newspaper, Hayden, a former Asda employee, said he was concerned about how people will react to his pregnancy.

But he added that he was glad he is expecting a baby - something that he hopes will inspire other people "to be happy in themselves".
He said: "There are a lot of small-minded people out there. I think people will judge me because I came out as trans and now I am pregnant."
He added: "People think you can’t be a man and have a baby, but it isn’t that simple.”
Hayden, from Gloucester, Gloucestershire, had reportedly spent three years living as man when he decided to have a baby.
At the time, he was taking male hormones. However, he has temporarily halted his transition after falling pregnant, it is said.
The young man insists he will not get into a relationship during his child's early years - to ensure they can have a "secure" life.
Hayden is believed to be the first man in the UK to publicly reveal he is pregnant.

In 2012, a man in his thirties - who was born a woman - was reported to have become Britain's first male mother.
The man - who remains unidentified - apparently gave birth in 2011 after having hormone treatment to reactivate his womb.
The body part had not been removed during a sex change operation.
Joanna Darrell, of the Beaumont Society transgender support group, said it had been contacted by the man for advice about pregnancy.
Speaking in 2012, Joanna said: “He got back in touch about six months ago to thank the society for its help and to say he’d had the baby.”
It is possible the man retained the ability to give birth naturally, but the baby is thought to have been delivered by caesarean.

Thomas stopped taking testosterone to become pregnant and he and his former spouse bought sperm from an anonymous donor.
He reportedly gave birth naturally after undergoing artificial insemination.
